We are delighted to announce that our Complement C2 Kit on SPA_PLUS has been shortlisted for Best New Clinical Product of 2018 at the Scientist’s Choice Award ^®.

Now in their twelfth year, the Scientists’ Choice Awards, run by SelectScience, celebrate the laboratory products and manufacturers that the scientific community consider make a big difference to the industry.

Complement C2 is an essential protein that forms part of the classical complement pathway. C2 deficiency is the most common inherited complement component deficiency, and is associated with systemic lupus erythematosus, glomerulonephritis and vasculitis. Our assay is the first fully automated Complement C2 assay for use on a turbidimetric analyser.
