The Environment, Ethics and Corporate Responsibility

We are committed to working in a responsible way, meeting our own high standards to ensure we continue to grow as a sustainable organisation. Our systems and processes respect, benefit and protect all our employees, customers, communities and environments in which we work.

Investing in our people

Built on the success of our people we recognise the value of our employees and look to provide them with the support and development opportunities they need to maximise their potential. Working in a highly specialised industry we understand the importance of investing in our employees' knowledge and skills, making sure they receive the necessary training to fully meet the needs of their role and continue to lead the way in specialised medical diagnostics.

We communicate regularly with all employees, sharing business performance and objectives as well as listening to their views and suggestions, incorporating these into how we work.

Meeting customers’ needs

Working closely with our customers allows us to develop a greater understanding of their specific objectives and react to their requirements, delivering solutions that continue to improve performance. Our dedicated Technical Service Group provides ongoing support and advice to customers making sure they continue to get high performance from our products.

At Binding Site we also operate our own quality assurance scheme, IMMPROVE, allowing customer to monitor and compare their usage and performance of our products.

Supporting communities

We work together as a company and individuals to ensure we have a positive impact on our communities, providing support through education, collaboration and fundraising. We actively support local charities and have formed a partnership with Cure Leukaemia, hosting and taking part in a number of fundraising activities to support their good work.

"We are very proud to be supporting a local charity that is very close to our hearts... We have already seen the excellent, ground-breaking work that Cure Leukaemia help facilitate at the Clinical Centre For Haematology and we’re very excited that it will be the focus of our fundraising activities." - Charles De Rohan, CEO

Protecting the environment

We have committed to minimising the impact of our business on the environment, reducing waste and emissions and raising awareness of our effect on the environment throughout the organisation. Our commitment to limiting the impact of our work on the environment is outlined in Binding Site’s Environmental Policy. The policy governs all of our processes and ensures the management of environmental issues are a key part of how we work.

Our policy and environmental issues are openly communicated throughout the organisation and all employees are trained in our ‘Reduce, Reuse and Recycle’ scheme. All of our products are designed to meet environmental standards and are optimised to run at their most efficient levels.

Our award winning UK headquarters has a number of sustainable features including and achieved a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’ for sustainable building.
